Does anyone know how can I stop the menu from vanishing (very slowly) and reappearing when I hover the top of the window? I just want it to stay there.

  Right, that's a fullscreen thing only. I was getting it because i3wm puts Firefox in fullscreen mode when I do <Mod>+f. Just remembered that about:config exists and disabled the vanishing menu.

  Right click on the toolbar, disable "Hide Toolbars".
