Ford is mostly okay these days, other than two of their most popular cars made in the past 5 years (2011-2016 Focus/Fiesta) having such horrible reliability issues that they're now paying out huge sums of money to a class action settlement. To be fair this was the result of their attempt to "innovate" by making a very cheap dual clutch transmission and seems to be a one-off (extremely expensive) design flaw.
