I tried to use MS adcenter (https://adcenter.microsoft.com https://adcenter.microsoft.com) to buy some more advertising.
Using the latest Chrome dev channel:
"The current browser is not supported. To see a list of supported browsers, see About System Requirements."
MS, I hate you. You obviously don't want to take my money.
Agree, these graphs are awful. It's a lot easier to double your search traffic if you start off with hardly any.
- commandar 16y agoIf you think that's bad, you should see the MS Partner Portal. It's hopelessly broken in anything other than IE, and it's not unusual for it to throw 500 errors left and right even if you are using IE. It's par for the course with Microsoft, though. Their eOpen volume licensing stuff is just as backwards and byzantine. When it comes down to it, Microsoft makes some genuinely great products, but the process involved with dealing with them makes me want to avoid using their products if I can.
- Revisor 16y agoUnfortunately that's not MS-specific. The revered Google used to have the same no-go warning for users of Adwords with Opera. I tried it again just now, the warning is gone, but the Adwords interface doesn't load properly (more specifically the dashboard loads, however campaign editor and "Opportunities", whatever that is, don't). I can't imagine how this is not deliberate.
- joubert 16y agoGoogle still says Safari 5 is not supported, I should upgrade. Apparently Safari 4 is better. Ugh.
- truebosko 16y agoThis is actually the only reason preventing our business from using MS Adcenter. We all use Firefox or Chrome, and I'm on OSX and don't really wish to boot into Virtualbox just to spend my money
- angrywombat 16y agoI'm using adcenter on Chrome. All you have to do is click Continue on the popup with that notice and it works pretty well for all aspects. I haven't seen anything too buggy except for seemingly random text alignment issues. Not sure about dev though as I'm on 5.x
- axod 16y agoah good to know thanks
