This behavior alone has convinced me to never consider their products. Which is sad, I could see myself using the product for my own projects, but I don't want to do business with spammers.
- oulipo 9y agoHey majewsky, of course I'm a co-founder and I'm looking for people interested in building on raspi! I'm sorry to see you think this is spam, but I mostly comment on the posts that we have sent on HN, or on posts about Raspberry Pi to let people know about the platform I think I mostly do about one comment per week, so I don't feel like spamming exactly :) I take your point and I will state my affiliation clearly next time, thanks!
- oulipo 9y agoSure, I'm one of the co-founder, I'm looking for people interested in building cool objects with Raspi! I'm not sure that one comment per week when I see a cool object should be considered as spam :)
- hk__2 9y agoCommenting on relevant posts to promote your product is ok if you disclose your affiliation. As long as you do it, it’s fine IMHO.
