The author was trying to test whether a simple common test for bipolar was accurate. Presumably, the suggestion is to make the test a form filled out by each doctor for each patient. Then months or years later the author could do a chart review and see whether the test results were accurate.
- nohat 9y agoTo potentially clarify: the test is just a form. It's a form with some questions about mood, and is currently being used to diagnose bipolar disorder (inappropriately, the author believes).
