It's more just having the ability to legally study them in the first place. As schedule 1 drugs, its nearly impossible for researchers to even obtain/synthesize the drugs to study in the first place leaving existing research limited to small sample sizes, old data, or subjective stories. This is a huge deal for a lot of reasons.
