How are these GPS trackers installed? I'm assuming they're somehow plugged in through the OBDII port under the dash. If that is the case, can't he just pull out

How are these GPS trackers installed? I'm assuming they're somehow plugged in through the OBDII port under the dash. If that is the case, can't he just pull out the tracker and continue driving?
- metalliqaz 9y agoNo, they are wired in to the car's ignition system, at least.
- jessaustin 9y agoIf accessory power is on, the starter solenoid can usually be shorted across with a screwdriver? Admittedly I haven't tried this on any really new cars...
