Fun fact about Meg unrelated to her abysmal corporate leadership - the legalization of marijuana is "the worst idea she's ever seen."

- jedberg 9y agoI'm willing to give her a pass on that as pandering to the Republican base (remember she ran for Governor), because the few interactions I had with her indicated that her personal feelings are much more moderate.
- danhak 9y ago"I'm willing to give her a pass on that because she was probably lying to garner goodwill" What a leader!
- hn_throwaway_99 9y agoThe American people have made it very clear they like to be pandered and lied to. People love to blame politicians, which I find rather odd given the more than ample evidence that in our democratic system they are just telling us what we want to hear.
- virtuabhi 9y ago"I'm willing to give her a pass on that as pandering to the Republican base" I think it is alright to have doubts on marijuana legalization as long as you can have some facts on your side. But reasonable voters giving a pass because the candidate might be pandering to extremists now and will not act on it when elected in future is bs. This is what got Trump elected (look at recent pardon of Joe Arapaio, putting idiots in charge of all scientific bodies, etc.).
