This article is "locked" for members of Bloomberg only. So I'd say this is a paywall.
- grzm 9y agoI believe the "member's only" aspect is for people with a Medium account as opposed to people who are members of Bloomberg, as it says that you can read it if you sign up for a free Medium account. I agree that it's a wall of some sort. Requiring signup to read content is a barrier, and at least for Show HN posts, I believe that's frowned upon. Anyone know if there's an official HN position on this sort of thing? Reading the guidelines and the FAQ I don't see anything that addresses it specifically.
