Ask HN: How do you travel to foreign countries alone?

I am currently in Morocco and having a solid time. But mostly because I was hooked up with a travel guide who is now arranging for different tours, giving me recommendations, et cetera. I would love to have a service like AirBnB to get a travel guide by the hour. I see that AnyGuide (tried to do this in 2013). Do you know of any current start-ups/companies setting up a marketplace for hourly and by the day guides? Thanks.
