I feel similar. If they provided a fully open phone where they worked closely with copperhead, it would be significantly more interesting. Make it dual compatible, work with copperhead/AOSP android and whatever they are trying to invent. Open hardware with hardware switches and a separated baseband is fairly interesting just by itself TBH.
