- gberger 9y agoAs a workaround, run this: window.dispatchEvent(new Event('offline'))
- binaryapparatus 9y agoThat worked, thanks.
- wlkr 9y agoI found it worked in Firefox by going to File -> Work Offline but I'm on macOS.
- hatsunearu 9y agoWhat a stupid and annoying gimmick. Author couldn't even be assed to check if it isn't horribly broken in a major browser.
- 0xffff2 9y agoMajor browser and specific OS. The gimmick works fine in Firefox on Windows 10.
- hatsunearu 9y agoDidn't work on my machine; it was FX and Win 10. Didn't even test it with my Linux laptop.
- mjgoins 9y agoSame with firefox on debian. I sure hope this article is good after I put so much work into enabling it.
