A Macbook Pro. That is all.
- JarekS 16y agoA Macbook Pro 13". That is all.
- brandonkm 16y agoThis. + Magic Mouse and Lacie firewire speakers. May get the cinema display sometime soon.
- JarekS 16y agoYes - Cinema display or other nice external monitor. Should boost productivity (although I'm not sure how much).
- stefanobernardi 16y agoThat's more than enough. I have a MacBook 13" in the office, and when I bring it home I plug it into a 26" Samsung display with mac keyboard and magic mouse, plus various external HDs.
- technomancy 16y agoI was really surprised by the weight of this machine. It's also very low-resolution. But the build quality is much-improved over precedessors. If Apple started to compete based on weight and resolution I might consider them, but who knows--maybe they're trying to avoid impinging on the lower-level ipad market.
- swah 16y ago2kg? Positively or negatively? My sister bought this dell (http://www1.la.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/vostro-v13?c=br&l=pt&s=bsd&cs=brbsdt1 http://www1.la.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx...) and its 1.6kg. Everyone loves the weight.
- technomancy 16y agoThe 13-inch Macbook Pro is just a lot heavier than it looks. It's much smaller than the 15-inch, but not much lighter.
- mitchellhislop 16y agoI am on a macbook as well, with externals at my usual haunts. It is really interesting to see how many people use a laptop as a main dev box. I figured that more hackers would have a desktop and a laptop
- damienfir 16y agoSame, with a 30'' Cinema Display.
