- microcolonel 9y agoGiven that statute affecting everyday life has grown to a scale that nobody, not even lawyers or even judges, can study and apply it consistently; it's hard to say how anyone could be expected to apply it. The great majority of laws on the books are not intuitive either. Honestly I end up wondering how the legal system functions at all.
