'One of the volunteers featured in the programme was Mark Anderson, 23, from London who works in the music industry. He said he was "gobsmacked" when he learned of a white ancestor far back in his father's side of the family.
"It beggars belief. I'm thinking how on earth is that possible?" Mr Anderson added.'

- Boothroid 9y agoI have a good memory and saw the original documentary. The worst/funniest part was when he travelled to a remote part of Nigeria to meet his supposed long lost relatives and during this once in a lifetime homecoming chose to sit with them with his shades on and earphones in.
- wolfram74 9y agoThat is a pretty loaded interpretation, to say it's equivalent, yes, both sides are surprised, but the purists accuse the tests of being tampered with and lied about, while the black man then, two paragraphs later goes on to say '"My mind has been kind of broadened to take the whole world really on as being like brothers. It's weird, it's strange," he said.'
