It's in Twitter's best interest not to do this as it drives up all metrics they care about. They may have a fig leaf of diversity but they have also made it very clear they see themselves as an unopinionated platform and don't remove content just because it's upsetting. They only jump into action when not doing so creates enough negative feedback to potentially harm them.
