I feel like I should point out that reforestation has a lot of value outside of carbon sequestration. Even if trees don't fix our carbon emissions by themselves, they help. Forests also: - Increase biodiversity - Improve air quality - Reverse desertification - Provide sustainable wood supply (with good management) - Reduces erosion, landslides, and floods They won't solve global warming, but they help- along with all the other positives, to boot.
