Windows 10 now uses the first person plural ("we") to talk to users, which I always thought was an interesting choice. Things like:
We're setting things up for you
We can't sign into your account
Etc...
- dragonwriter 9y agoConsistent with the software’s role as an agent and voice of the firm creating it.
- fencepost 9y agoThis might be out of date, but I think the installer still uses "I" - "I'm happy to see you" and such. If you imagine it in a creepy voice it completely changes the tone of an install. Edit: thanks autocorrect
- kaybe 9y agoIt comes across creepy to me and people around me all by itself. Maybe we played to much Portal.
