I don't believe anything is "designed" to stop functioning. That's just a happy accident that results from cost cutting measures in the manufacturing process.
- probablybroken 9y agoOk, maybe it's arrived at via an evolutionary process then - with selection being provided by stakeholders. The outcome is however the same.
