- mattyb 16y agoI applaud your efforts, but those tutorials are old and crusty. Please get a good book or two. http://www.amazon.com/Learning-MySQL-JavaScript-Step-Step/dp/0596157134/ref=pd_sim_b_1 http://www.amazon.com/Learning-MySQL-JavaScript-Step-Step/dp... http://www.amazon.com/PHP-MySQL-Web-Development-4th/dp/0672329166/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1278706790&sr=1-1-catcorr http://www.amazon.com/PHP-MySQL-Web-Development-4th/dp/06723... Don't buy both, too much overlap. Just pick the one you like. The latter is long, but worth it. I've got more recommendations if you're interested.
- mitchellhislop 16y agoI also recommend the second one. Not to hijack, but setting up a local server (MAMP or XAMP) and building/breaking things has helped me in learning a few languages. Its worth a night to do it.
