While I appreciate your comment in being fairly correct, I still think there is a lot of value in trying to understand the human body as a molecular machine that runs on top of reality and generates sub environments that have "clocks" to synchronise processes. After all a clock signal doesn't measure the day, it measures discrete intervals.
