Which makes logical sense too. Why are their injury rates higher? Because management isn't doing the right things to lower them. That's because either a) they don't care (which seems unlikely, given that they really need to hit production targets, and injured people can't work) or b) they're ignorant as to the actual causes. Immersion in "minutia" (aka the actual work experience) is certainly one way to cure ignorance.
