This is what's good (and bad) about the cryptocurrency / blockchain (etc.) state at the moment. It's all pure speculation, and makes a fantastic study from an anthropological and economic standpoint into how the perception of value (and the belief in that value in something) can increase the value of that 'thing'. I think there's a lot of hyper-salesmanship at play at the moment - my real worry is that the hype catches up to the technology which is (at the base level at least), proven. When this happens, I believe a lot of these ICOs are going to crash and burn due to a lack of understanding of the base technologies they're implementing in order to generate revenue. Abstraction is not always a good thing.
