IA is only applicable for items that are 128kb or larger in size. Also Glacier adds 32kb of glacier data to each object as well as 8kb of standard tier storage

IA is only applicable for items that are 128kb or larger in size. Also Glacier adds 32kb of glacier data to each object as well as 8kb of standard tier storage per object. S3 is really inefficient for huge numbers of small files.
