I do every new Python project in Python 3 when I can. Unfortunately, there are still cases where I need to write a script to run on CentOS6 environments, and I can't install any dependencies :/.
- tmearnest 9y agoI've always just bit the bullet and compiled Python 3 and installed it to ~/.local when I had to deal with such a system. It generally compiles without needing me to build any other dependencies. Unless I need sqlite, berkeley db, tk et al., that is...
