There is a lot of hidden treasure for macOS, but it is buried under layers of bad Google results because somehow “NSViewController” makes Google shows me results for “UIAppDelegate” and “UIView”—makes sense. A lot of information is out there, on SO, Apple developer forums and mailing lists.
