The obvious solution would be for foreigners to co-invest with local VCs/Angels. I think if investors have an eye toward making these kinds of investments in a sustainable and ethical way, it is definitely possible.
- mc32 9y agoIt depends on the amount of bureaucracy (bureaucracy fosters working with locals who can navigate the system) as well as the trade barriers they might face. Not just vis a vis extra African countries but within Africa you can face lots of trade barriers.
