I (German) have never used NFC payments and was curious how that would work with my bank. Turns out they want me to install an app on my phone for this, which is definitely not going to happen.
- aianus 9y agoWe just tap our credit cards against the terminal in Canada. No PIN, no signature, way faster than cash.
- Froyoh 9y agoWith Apple/Android Pay it's even faster, no need to dig around in your wallet.

- hottycat3 9y agoBecause we don't want to be tracked by the bank what stuff we buy?
- CrystalGamma 9y agoIn my case, it would be that I trust my phone much less than a single-purpose card.
- chrisper 9y agoThere are two different ways of NFC payment. One is through NFC of your phone and another one is NFC directly in the card.
