This street is immediately to the west, as you come out of the Presidio (Masonic Gate). It looks exactly like an ordinary public street - there's no gate or anything (although there is a sign posted). I once tried to walk in there, to gawk at the houses. Right at the entrance, where the private street meets the public street, I was stopped by a guard who told me this was a private street, and I wasn't permitted to enter. So I kind of hope the new street owners let people go for a walk in there...
