Why is that confusing? Has HN become so contrarian that a top comment agreeing with the author is suspect?
- heyoni 9y agoI think the confusion stems from the fact that the OP tries to set himself apart from the target of the article. It just sounds like he didn't read the link.
- delinka 9y agoI don't see this "[trying] to set himself apart" bit. Maybe I'm reading too literal? Maybe others are projecting? I don't know. I read OP as continuing the article's discussion. Or just a minor "meh, this is how it is with me." But "setting himself apart"? Or 'writing ironically'? I don't see it.
