- lighttower 9y agoWhat the OP is saying is that marketing makes the impression that "IF I HAD {X} THEN I'D BE {NOT LONELY, HAPPY, LIKED, BEAUTIFUL, ETC}" where {x }is the set of items that you're actively feeling marketing pressure to buy.
