Sorry but this sounds incredibly hypocritical to me. Are we also going to send everyone to prison who decides to buy a SUV instead of a car that's more fuel efficient? As long as people in the US are driving insanely oversized trucks, I can't take the outrage about dieselgate serious at all. If people in France, a country where most people drive tiny cars like Renault's Twingo, are upset, that's a different matter.
