Ford and GM remind of Blackberry and Nokia management when Apple released the iPhone. They just couldn't grasp what was about to happen. Since 2012 Li batteries have fallen in price by 70%. I suspect they will continue to fall as they get more powerful. I expect to see a Tesla in 5 years that can get 600-800 miles per charge. At that point it will be terminal for the Big 3.
