- toomanybeersies 9y agoPeople and car manufacturers have been doing this forever, by playing with the exhaust. Wanna make your shitty Honda Civic sound fast? Just put a big bore exhaust on it. It's just that they've decided to be considerate (and probably cheaper) and use speakers in the car.
- pavement 9y agoYeah, it's a trade between experience and authenticity. If you value the experience for its own novelty and stimulation, the fakery isn't a problem. Those who seek authenticity derive pleasure from a completely different source and rationale.
