The problem I see, is that if you change a single line in the stylesheet, the client has to re-download all images - nothing is cached.

The problem I see, is that if you change a single line in the stylesheet, the client has to re-download all images - nothing is cached.
- superk 16y agoI'll add... it really makes sense for mobile/webkit where you can depend a lot more on CSS3 and most images are small icons or tiles. I've seen Apple use it a lot in their mobile web apps.
