What do you mean? The reality is that African-American people are incarcerated and convincted at very high rates, in great part thanks to policies that very specifically designed to target them (re: war on drugs).
- hwoolery 9y agoI don't think he's arguing the disparity of the rate, but rather the implied generalization that former-convict = African-American. Look at the statistics posted above, that is not true. I agree, it needs redesign.
