Very interesting, although it seems odd to hear a software engineering describe Gödel's incompleteness theorems as a "cheap trick used to try to frighten mathematicians back in the thirties."
Still, I chuckled when I read it.
- btilly 16y agoIt wasn't exactly Gödel's incompleteness theorem that was being referred to. It was the use of self-reference to create a statement that can be neither true nor false.
