Exactly, mountable and mergable snapshots have been supported by a LVM/devicemapper stack for a long time.
- rbanffy 9y agoIt's still a bit more involved than the transparent snapshots ZFS and, to a lesser degree, BtrFS offer. I'm not happy with this and sincerely hope this position changes in the future.
