Anyone got hired posting here?
I see potential in "who's hiring" post. But here, at "who wants to be hired" seems a bit strange.
I can't see a recruiter coming here to find his dream employee.
Am I wrong?
- clavalle 9y agoI'm a hiring manager that's currently scanning these just in case a good candidate is out there. I found one I am considering forwarding to a friend in the finance industry that is always on the lookout for talent. HN users tend to be a cut above, on average. So, yes, I think you may be wrong on this one.

- dood 9y agoThere are a lot of cities in the world where you could wander around with "developer for hire" written on your T-shirt and get job offers.
- taheca 9y agoI am a Recruiter who eagerly hits this the first of every month. Yes, people will get hired from posting on this thread.
