- baalimago 9y agowas just going to mention this. Feels like PR stun or whatever. OP, has anything changed since last posted?
- flexie 9y agoThat's some accusation. Maybe the poster just didn't spend as much time reading HN in the last few days.
- mercer 9y agoHonestly I had the same reaction initially. But now I think this is just an echo-chamber effect. After reading the HN article, I received at least two of my regular js-related newsletters in my email inbox that mentioned this book. I suspect that's what caused it to be submitted again (and I vaguely recall it popping up in a thread somewhere). But I do understand that it might feel like a campaign.
- Cthulhu_ 9y agoOr someone else found it and re-shared it; HN does not have duplicate link / submission protection, and iirc that's intentional.
- baalimago 9y agoFair enough
- sus_007 9y agoYeah, the author(@bpesquet) himself had posted this few days ago. How come this post make the front page once again ?
- elorm 9y agoThis was obviously shared by another user and not the author. Doesn't have a show HN tag as well
- netmask 9y agoThe JS way is : just fuck it
- jeffehobbs 9y agoNote to the author: your social news app on heroku is overwhelmed by spam.
