If you live in SF long enough, a knife will be pulled on you eventually. (Happened to me and a few of my friends.) The trick is to just run. To my astonishment this isn't the reaction of most people.
- coryrc 9y agoThey run all the way to the suburbs, where their environmental impact doubles, but at least they can go to the library without getting stabbed.

- zghst 9y agoThe first part of your comment is correct, that is very much true. I hope though that no one ever turns to expose their back to the assailant to make a run
