I feel similarly about Atlanta. I have a bunch of family there and have made 10-15 trips there lifetime. Something about the culture there just rubs me the wrong way. I've lived in Baltimore, NYC, SF, and DC as an adult, and found something to like about all of them (although I laughed out loud at your description of Bmore). I really can't imagine moving to ATL. I think it's a 3rd-tier city that thinks it's a 1st-tier city.
