There goes my screenshot editing software
- Pica_soO 9y agoMy thoughts are with all those help-deskers who will have to explain this to a million people who used this to cut and paste pictures. Microsoft sure likes to put up a rodeo-experience for the customers.
- ClassyJacket 9y agoI'm 28 and I'm sure I'll be long dead before any large organizations move past Windows 7.
- executesorder66 9y agoTry Greenshot [0] for taking, and editing screenshots on Windows. [0] http://getgreenshot.org/ http://getgreenshot.org/
- saw-lau 9y agoThe main issue I have with this is that, like you could guarantee vi/vim being present on any Unix/Linux installation, mspaint.exe would always be present on any Windows installation for easily taking screenshots. When working with locked-down systems, such as we do at work, that was a really useful feature.
- _pmf_ 9y agoAltGr+Scroll, Win+R "mspaint", Enter, Ctrl-V is in my muscle memory.
- drawkbox 9y agoSnipping Tool still there for screenshots.
- bitJericho 9y agoCan't capture a mouse hover with snipping tool.
- tompazourek 9y agoYou can if you use a delay.
- graphitezepp 9y agoSecond Greenshot. It satisfyingly solves "turn a specific part of my screen into an image" as smoothly and simply as well as is probably possible.
- sorenjan 9y agoWindows ships with snipping tool for screenshots. You can also press Win+PrintSCrn to save a screenshot image in Pictures\Screenshots. Microsoft also have their Snip program available for download: https://mix.office.com/snip https://mix.office.com/snip
- rtx 9y agoCan it rotate.
