The algorithm is not plainly random.
It factors in how many times people have clicked more obscure for a particular artist!
tldr;
When you click More Obscure, the song won't play again for you. The entire artist will play less for everyone.
- SkyMarshal 16y agoAh, so it sounds like 'More Obscure' means 'Make this artist more obscure in the playlist'? I interpreted it as 'drill down into even more obscure, less known, less listened-to artists'.
