I currently have a 4 hour commute each way. On Monday morning, 15 min taxi from home to the airport (medium sized midwest city). 3 hour direct flight to LGA (incl. security and whatnot). 30 min taxi to the office in Manhattan. Stay in a hotel next to the office until Friday then fly back. I do this commute about 4 times per year. The rest of the time I work from home. It's great.
