I think that's sort of what RSS was going for, but it doesn't seem to have really taken off. Maybe we need an RSS 2.0.

- beambot 9y agoRSS did take off... Google released their free reader, which grabbed (probably) 80% market share with 1-2 engineers maintaining it. Then it was killed (to the VERY loud protestations of the internet) for no apparent reason.
