I would deal with their arguments but the post was killed before I had a chance - and I would avoid flagging a post just because it doesn't match my political view of the world.
- mindcrime 16y agoI flag (some) political stories, not because they disagree with my worldview, but because the guidelines say they're offtopic. <shrug /> If people want to talk politics, there are plenty of forums for that. /r/politics on reddit being a good example. But I don't flag something just because it's political. If there's something about it that makes it seem like it would be of particular interest to HN readers, I leave it be.
