Hi, I have a math learning disorder, which includes algebra. I was never able to grasp the concepts throughout school. I've been programming for 10 years now, and I'm pretty damn good at it if I do say so myself. I'm not advocating dropping algebra, but your statement is a bit sensationalist.

My bet is either you're actually good at CC level algebra, just don't know it yet (say, bad at notation but good at concepts - try reverse polish notation then), or you're not programming, but putting code together using automated tools.
