This video made a few rounds on the internet and it's dismissed as fake-science feel-good marketing bullshit. This picture and text explanation is not how Bernoulli's principle works.
>Hot air enters the bottles from the outside and then sends cooler air out of the thinner neck. The principle is similar to the effect when you exhale into your hand with an open mouth or with pursed lips. http://files.heftycdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/885e1402f94b73bcd325cf1b3d44a12a-800x450.jpg http://files.heftycdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/885e140...
Bernoulli's principle predicts the exact opposite: when air is compressed, it gets hotter. According to stackoverflow, their cooling explanation is completely wrong https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/7868/why-does-the-air-we-blow-exhale-out-from-our-mouths-change-from-hot-to-cold-depe https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/7868/why-does-th...
And the real reason this cools the house is that these creators have rediscovered the window. https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/261284/how-does-the-eco-cooler-air-conditioner-really-work https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/261284/how-does-...
It's sad fake-sciecne like this gets shared so widely on the internet.
