Unemployment benefits are largely funded by employers, not taxpayers.
- robotresearcher 9y agoSo the employer is the taxpayer. Still sketchy since all employers pay payroll taxes but most don't have the cash accrue to their employees all summer. Unemployment is not supposed to be part of your compensation strategy.
